If you are an LGBTQ+ individual who wants to build a family or discuss your options, you’ve come to the right place. The Q+ Family Building clinic at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is likely the first of its kind in the nation—a fertility and reproductive clinic within an academic center that’s entirely dedicated to providing comprehensive LGBTQ+ family building care. Because our LGBTQ+ family building clinic exists within our larger fertility care program at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, you will receive the best possible care on your family building journey.
Brent Monseur is a reproductive endocrinology fellow at Stanford Fertility. He trained as a reproductive biologist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health prior to completing his MD at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Monseur is committed to improving outcomes for LBGTQ+ family building and has published data on the largest U.S. cohort of single and couple intended fathers. His team will be the first to report on same-sex male couples using combined egg donation and gestational carrier using the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) national database. Dr. Monseur is Vice Chair of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine's LGBTQ Special Interest Group and has recently been appointed to the faculty at Stanford as LGBTQ Family Building Director—the first in the country with such a title.
