Karyn has a private practice in Boca Raton, FL since 1999 where she provides psychotherapy and hypnotherapy services to children, teens, adults, couples and families. She is a trauma trained clinician in EMDR. Karyn is specialized in grief, loss, trauma and reproductive mental health. She holds a certification in perinatal mental health assisting clients with postpartum depression and anxiety. She works in the field of third party reproduction, offering consultation, mental health screenings and evaluations, and counseling with egg donors, surrogates, and Intended Parents (IP). She has served as a mentor with American Society of Reproductive Medicine where she is an active member of the Mental Health Professional Group. She is an expert witness on grief and loss issues. Karyn has been an invited speaker at professional conferences, and serves as a lecturer and trainer for the community. She is invited to work with schools and workplaces offering crisis counseling and providing critical incident stress debriefing. Karyn has extensive experience facilitating bereavement support groups and providing professional trainings.
