Armando Hernandez-Rey, MD is a board-certified reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist. He specializes in treating patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), recurrent pregnancy loss (miscarriage), and severe endometriosis. He is especially interested in fertility preservation (egg freezing) for patients who must delay childbearing for personal or medical reasons, including cancer and systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr. Hernandez-Rey is an assistant clinical professor at both the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. He also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for the prestigious peer-reviewed journal, Fertility and Sterility and has published several articles and chapters in medical literature.
Dr. Neil Goodman is a board-certified endocrinologist in Miami with a focus on reproductive health issues. Doctor Goodman has been practicing in Miami since 1974 and has specialized in reproductive medicine and infertility for almost 40 years. He received his BA in chemistry from Cornell University and his MD from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed internship and residency training in medicine at Beth Israel Hospital and a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Massachusetts General Hospital, both in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Goodman has been a member of the teaching faculty of the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine since 1974, serving as Professor of Medicine, lecturing on, and establishing a preceptorship for the endocrine fellowship program in reproductive endocrinology.
Dr. Trisha Shah is passionate about inclusive family building for all. As a fertility specialist, she is committed to educate, empower, and provide individualized care as one navigates decisions and choices about reproductive health and growing their family. Dr. Shah received her MD degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her residency in OBGYN at Mount Sinai Hospital, Icahn School of Medicine. After residency, she completed her Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. She is accomplished in publishing papers, writing textbook chapters and medical humanities poetry, presenting her research at national meetings, and has been awarded teaching accolades by medical students and residents during their training. She is proud to be a patient advocate and cultivating relationships, while serving the diverse community of South Florida.
Jackelyn Golden is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who began her nursing career in 2014 after completing her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Miami. She worked as a registered nurse in maternal and infant health at Baptist Hospital of South Florida for four years. Her extensive background in women's health and fertility issues equips her to address the unique needs of each patient, offering support and guidance throughout their reproductive journey. Jackie’s emphasis on maximizing the patient experience reflects not only her professional competence but also her genuine concern for the well-being of those seeking fertility assistance. Jackie loves strolls in the park with her two beautiful daughters and husband.
Maggie Gonzalez is a Certified Physician Assistant passionate about reproductive endocrinology and infertility and her role as a surgical first assist in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. She earned her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies degree from Nova Southeastern in 2004 and went on to complete a Physician Assistant Surgery Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2005. She has 20 years combined clinical and surgical experience in trauma and acute care surgery and critical care, and reproductive medicine. Maggie is committed to helping individuals and couples achieve their reproductive goals via a multi-disciplinary and collaborative team approach. She is also dedicated to giving back to her profession by serving as adjunct faculty, preceptor and conference planning throughout her career as a Physician Assistant. Maggie enjoys yoga, kettlebell workouts, reading, traveling and spending time with family, friends and her rescue beagle Lilly.
Michal Wrotslavsky is an NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Women's Health and Fertility. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their fertility goals, through incorporating a comprehensive medical approach combined with overall health and lifestyle optimization. Michal earned her Master of Medical Science and Physician Assistant Studies degree from Nova Southeastern University and graduated with distinction. In addition to fertility and medicine, Michal enjoys biking, strength training, and spending time with her family.
