Agency fee payment schedule:   Our fees are broken down into two components: 1. An Agency Management Fee of $8,000, $13,000 or $18,000, depending on the Donor/Tier you choose. a) Basic Tier ($8,000 CAD) - First Timer Donor Agency Fee b) Standard Tier ($13,000 CAD) - Proven Egg Donor Agency Fee c) Premium Tier ($18,000 CAD) - Elite Egg Donor Agency Fee 2. Donor Expenses of $7,500.00+ If a donor is experienced, her expenses may be quoted higher because we often see a change in life circumstances, such as an advancement in their career to graduating, resulting in a higher lost wage. Donor Expenses are sent directly to our donors after an independent third-party escrow provider has received eligible receipts. In the event that a donor does not require the entire amount held in escrow for expenses, this money will be transferred back to the Intended Parents. However, we ask Intended Parents to budget for the entire expense amount, as most donors will provide us with receipts totalling the full amount. Her Helping Habit works with SeedTrust for escrow services. SeedTrust is the nation's leading tech-enabled egg donation & surrogacy escrow fund manager. Their simple online platform provides a transparent interface that offers efficiency and peace of mind. Every dollar held in escrow is fully bonded and insured! SeedTrust maintains a bond of $40,000,000. Any disbursements made within the Donor Expense Account are not payments, only reimbursements. All disbursements will be made in accordance with the provisions of the Regulations of the AHRA. Fees are due in five (5) stages: Stage 1: A $250.00 Agency Intake Fee is due to review full, detailed egg donor profiles and book unlimited meet & greet calls with potential egg donor candidates. You will be able to see a short sample profile for free. This $250 administration fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Stage 2: A $2,000.00 Phase 1 Agency Management Fee is due when the Intended Parent(s) has chosen an Egg Donor from our database and would like to secure this Egg Donor, and the Donor has confirmed that she is available to cycle. Once we have received payment, we will remove the Egg Donor from our database until her cycle is complete or for up to 6 months from receiving this deposit. This fee is also NON-REFUNDABLE and will be deducted from the total agency fee. Stage 3: Intended Parent(s) must transfer 50% of the agreed-upon donor reimbursement/expenses amount to SeedTrust escrow services after securing your Donor. The total is, on average, $15,000.00 USD ($20,000.00 CAD), but the amount may change based on your chosen Donor. Therefore, expect to transfer approximately $7,500.00 USD or ($10,000.00 CAD) at this stage. You can confirm this amount with your HHH coordinator. Stage 4: You will be asked to transfer the remaining 50% to the escrow account once your egg donor has passed their medical screening. Egg Donors will not begin their medication for their egg donation until the entire expense amount has been transferred and confirmed by the coordinator. Stage 5: The remaining ($5,750.00, $10,750, or $15,750) Phase 2 Agency Management Fee is due after the Egg Donor's medical screening appointment and your fertility physician has approved the Egg Donor. Note: - Stages 1, 2 & 5 are paid directly to the Her Helping Habit business account. - Stages 3 & 4 will be sent to escrow and distributed to your Donor and agency accordingly. - Tax is charged to the HHH Agency fees based on the province in which your clinic is located. Extensive Travel Allowance: Sometimes, the Egg Donor may be located significantly from your clinic's premises. Should the Egg Donor's residence be situated more than a 90-minute drive one way from your fertility clinic, they shall qualify for an enhanced travel reimbursement starting at approximately $6,500.00. This reimbursement budget is intended to cover airfare and hotel accommodations expenses. Such financial considerations will be presented and discussed with you before selecting your Egg Donor, allowing for an informed decision-making process. Should the initial deposit into the escrow account prove insufficient to cover this allowance, you must provide an additional monetary infusion. The required amount will be determined and communicated to you case-by-case. What If The Egg Donor Does Not Pass The Medical Screening? Should the Egg Donor fail to meet the medical screening requirements, the agency fee will be transferred toward selecting an alternative donor. If a suitable Egg Donor cannot be identified within our database, the initial payment of $2,250.00 shall be retained as an administrative charge. Please be aware that Her Helping Habit is not responsible for the expenses associated with medical screenings, nor does it provide refunds for screenings that do not result in approval. We employ a rigorous application procedure to minimize the likelihood of such occurrences, aiming to prevent potential client dissatisfaction. Furthermore, our escrow service does not impose any additional charges, encompassing the process of re-matching. It is important to note that no refunds will be issued should the Intended Parent(s) decide to terminate the cycle for any reason. Satellite Monitoring: In instances where an Egg Donor is located a significant distance from the clinic, the option for satellite monitoring is made available. This allows the Egg Donor to undergo screening or monitoring appointments at a facility closer to her, with the results forwarded to your fertility clinic on the same day. It is common for a local clinic to impose a fee for conducting these tests; however, this fee typically offsets the cost that would have otherwise been incurred for an extended or separate trip to your clinic to perform the same tests. Should you opt for an egg donor from another province, state, or country, it is advisable to allocate funds for the following potential expenses: - Fee for a donor's consult with your doctor to be via phone - Fee for the donor's screening ultrasound at a satellite clinic - Bloodwork might be covered under provincial health care plans. However, it could be an additional expense to be factored into your budget. *Please ask your Her Helping Habit coordinator for specific costs based on the Egg Donor of interests ID# *
Available financing options:   Unfortunately, we are unable to offer financing options at this time.
Additional Policies / Clarifications:   Policy on Open ID Donations: All egg or embryo donations through our program are required to be Open ID. Before proceeding with legal agreements, we facilitate a meet-and-greet between the donor and intended parents to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone involved. This initial meeting sets the foundation, allowing the relationship to develop naturally and organically over time, fostering openness and connection for the benefit of all parties, especially the child in the future.
