Greg Wiles - President

Greg is the President of Hatch Egg Donation & Surrogacy and PFCLA. Greg and his husband Zach welcomed their daughter via surrogacy to the world, and now they are in a sibling journey! They worked with the surrogacy and egg donation team at Hatch and the doctors and team at PFCLA on both journeys. Prior to joining Hatch and PFCLA in 2020, he led the finance organization at Eyemart Express, a leading optical retailer, for 5 years. Greg was born and raised in Colorado and attended Boston College and Harvard Business School before settling out in Los Angeles with his husband.

Alex Maron - Egg Donor Program Director

Alex Maron was born in Paris, France and grew up in Spain as well as Los Angeles. Alex is the daughter of master painter and artist Salvador Maron and famous 60's model & designer Willy van Rooy, with a talented designer as her older brother who lives in Madrid. Alex moved with her parents to Los Angeles when she was 13 to pursue modeling. She is married to a wonderful man and has 3 amazing children. Alex is the Egg Donor Program Director at Hatch Egg Donation & Surrogacy, and has been part of their great team for almost 15 years. She is currently matched and is an active surrogate with the Program as well. In her words “There is no better reward than seeing people's lives transformed from achieving their dream of starting a family.” Alex is honored to be part of this wonderful program and looks forward to seeing more lovely families grow.

Edvin Fogelmark - International Manager

Edvin is the International Manager of Hatch Egg Donation & Surrogacy, and the in-house IVF clinic Pacific Fertility Center LA (PFCLA). He works closely with all international intended parents as they embark on their surrogacy and clinical journey. Edvin has had first-hand experience of working with the team at Hatch and PFCLA when he, and his husband Ola, decided to embark on their personal family building journey. In 2020 Edvin and Ola welcomed their first child to the world. In 2024 they welcomed their second child to the family, with assistance of the Hatch/PFCLA program. He is passionate about sharing his personal experiences with other couples and individuals who are looking at commencing their journey. Having gone through the journey as an international intended parent residing in Europe, he hopes to offer unique perspectives for European couples and individuals pursuing Egg Donation and Surrogacy. He has also travelled the world speaking at conferences and events directed towards gay men, educating the community about the process.

Lauri de Brito - Intended Parent Relationship Manager

I was 37 when my then-husband and I decided to start a family. My first daughter came easily and we immediately tried for number two. Six and a half years later plus countless infertility treatments, all I had to show for it was 8 heart-breaking miscarriages – so I turned to surrogacy. I interviewed top agencies but they were all about the money with no compassion. We eventually “settled” for an agency and our surrogate was wonderful, but our agency was not. I turned to my friend Kathryn for support throughout my journey. Years later, my kids mean everything to me and it’s hard to remember the depression I felt about my infertility. Today, nothing makes me happier than helping create loving families around the world. Lauri is an active member of SEEDS, ASRM, PVED, RESOLVE, MHB, and DGA. Matt Crowe - Intended Parent Coordinator

Matt Crowe is an Intended Parent Coordinator at Hatch Egg Donation & Surrogacy. Matt was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Los Angeles in 2009. He now lives in the Bay Area with his husband Nick and two daughters, aged 4 & 1, born via surrogacy and egg donation. Prior to joining the Hatch team in 2022 Matt worked in Recruiting & HR leadership roles at a number of large-scale tech and retail companies. After becoming a father through surrogacy, he wanted to be able to support more Intended Parents complete their family dreams and is so happy to be part of the team at Hatch.

Shoshannah Roberts - Support & Intake Manager

Shoshannah Roberts resides on California's beautiful central coast. Before she wanted to be anything else, she knew she wanted to be a parent. After welcoming her own first child she pursued becoming a surrogate at only 21 years old. She has since delivered four surrogate babies for four different families and has three children of her own. Shoshannah entered the third-party reproduction field professionally in 2010 and has been with Hatch Egg Donation & Surrogacy ever since. She currently works in the role of Support & Intake Manager screening and preparing surrogates for their journeys and facilitating ongoing support groups. She has an Associates in Psychology with honors and is pursuing her Bachelor's in Human Development at CSU East Bay with a focus in Women's and Queer Studies. Shoshannah is especially passionate about working with LGBTQ+ families, having carried for two dads, and being a mom and ally to two queer children. She has devoted her life to advocating for diverse and inclusive family building options.

Overall communication from Hatch could be improved. Everyone was wonderful to work with, but communication was lacking especially during the matching phase. Unless we contacted our match coordinator, we didn’t hear anything. We ultimately started to work with a new match specialist, Kylie, after we raised some concerns about the lack of communication- Kylie was amazing! Our case manager, Charlena was super helpful and pleasant!

We can not rave enough about Hatch, we interviewed several agencies before signing with Hatch. Hatch's Peace of Mind package really made the deal for us. They were one of the only agencies that truly offered everything in one package. There were other agencies that claimed to have an all inclusive package but there was always something left out. What a journey we had! Through it all, our surrogate and our agency, Hatch, were incredible. We used Hatch for our entire process and went “all-in” with their Peace of Mind journey. While it was expensive, it did indeed provide us with peace of mind and when we look back on the nearly 3-year journey, we know it was all worth it. We had a successful pregnancy and our son was born this summer. While we had lots of ups and downs, the team at Hatch was amazing. We absolutely loved Janice, our surrogacy coordinator, who worked hard to get us a surrogate quickly as we went through a loooong journey through three different potential egg donors. Once we matched with our surrogate, it was a match made in heaven! She was amazing, especially through a miscarriage that she unfortunately had at 17 weeks, after we had told folks we were expecting. We opted to use her again for our second attempt, despite the 2nd trimester miscarriage. We worked with Bianca through our full pregnancy and she served as a great intermediary between us as needed, and was always super responsive and great to work with. We were really happy with her: she was compassionate, responsive and truly kind. Anything that she was able to support on, she absolutely did. To anyone going through this journey: buckle up!! It’s got some serious highs and lows, and requires a lot of patience. Through it all, we were so glad we chose Hatch. Everyone we talked to at the agency is a former surrogate or intended parent - this team knows the journey you're starting on. We had our last surrogate be a surrogate through this agency and she loved it. She said that she was supported as well as given tokens of gratitude throughout the journey that she did not expect. As intended parents we found the staff to be friendly and patient. They answered any and all of our questions within a reasonable timeframe, but also made sure to check in every now and then when we didn't really "need them", which was sweet.
