The Vermont Journey offers a one-stop shop to build your family with young, healthy egg donors and proven surrogates in legally favorable (and beautiful!) Vermont. What sets us apart? 1) Vermont was the first state to adopt civil unions, and, in 2009, to legislate same-sex marriage. Laws have continued to develop to offer a safe-haven for your family building. 2) A dedicated third-party team - led by physicians, specialized nurse practitioners and Vermont Surrogacy coordinators to ensure you have 360-care: finding the right match, ensuring all parties' safety, and optimizing your success. 3) An incredible egg donor program - local, healthy donors for the highest chance of success; you can also work with egg-banks. The Vermont Journey: your path, your family, our science. We look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Jennifer Brown - Medical Director
Dr. Jenny Brown, a Board-Certified REI physician and the Medical Director of NRM, has passionately developed the "Vermont Journey" over 10 years to offer individuals from New England, as well as those travelling to Vermont from within the US and internationally, a supported and successful path to parenthood. The Vermont Journey grew organically as Dr Brown was building families for the local Vermont LGBTQ+ community, and word spread that Vermont’s legal environment was favorable to intended parents’ birth rights. Surrogacy journeys are both logistically easy—and also one of the healthiest options: Vermont typically ranks #1-2 in healthiest populations in the US. Plus, Vermont's demographic of healthy, educated individuals- often local students and graduate students- offers a natural source of diverse egg donors. Dr. Brown and the NRM team offer a “one-stop shop”: a thriving fresh egg donor program and a rich source of surrogates, covering your family-building journey from A to Z. Dr. Brown helps individuals from near and far who have discovered the gem of NRM Vermont's fertility care.

Reviews
(2021, USA parents) Unfortunately, we used the only clinic available to us in the state of Vermont. We found them understaffed and overworked. Some of their charges were outrageously ridiculous, even by IVF standards. We did love Dr. Casson though!

(2021, International parents) Amazing staff.

(2021, USA parents) We worked with Northeastern Reproductive Medicine (NRM) to have a child via surrogacy, and we would highly recommend them. Although they are a medical business, they were also caring and deeply invested in trying to help us succeed in having a child. As a gay couple, we were treated with sensitivity, kindness, and compassion every step of the way. Perhaps even more important, that sensitivity and individual touch was coupled with the upmost professionalism and medical excellence. NRMVT's medical expertise, care, advice, and persistence allowed us to have our baby -- we would highly recommend them!
Approved
(2019, USA parents) Northeastern Reproductive Medicine has been supporting us on our journey for five years. Their building, process and crew of professionals all support with love. We are forever grateful for their work and our two babies via gestational surrogacy.
Approved
(2018, USA parents) Northeastern Reproductive Medicine did an outstanding job outlining the procedures, the time frames and keeping our expectations real. The facility was state-of-the-art and a very comfortable environment. The providers were all highly competent, patient and understanding of our needs and desires.
