Mandie McGlynn

Mandie has been an advocate for the surrogacy experience since 2007, when she first came across the concept of gestational surrogacy. She is passionate about supporting both intended parents and surrogates through their process of family creation, and has experience providing both logistical and emotional/spiritual support. After delivering babies for two pairs of dads in 2011 and 2014, Mandie worked as a surrogacy case manager, guiding dozens of journeys from start to finish. As of 2023, Mandie serves as MHB's Director of Membership and Assistance, overseeing the Gay Parenting Assistance Program (GPAP) and other membership benefits. Mandie holds a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary and in addition to her work at MHB, she serves remotely across the country as an interfaith Spiritual Director. Mandie lives just outside of Chicago with her two partners, three teenagers, and two energetic dogs.
